He added that since ICGEB's first regional research center had settled in China Medical City, both sides had achieved great results in international cooperation, exchanges and the incubation of sci-tech achievements.
For his part, Banks said that the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology China Regional Research Centre, or ICGEB China RRC, had made significant achievements in promoting international scientific and technological exchanges over the past five years.
He added that the ICGEB would continue to strengthen its cooperation with China and strongly support dialogue between ICGEB China RRC and ICGEB member countries.
