The Seaboard Valor, a dual-fuel container ship equipped with the world's largest vertical liquefied natural gas tank, has been successfully launched and docked at the outfitting quay.
Built by Sanfu Shipbuilding, Seaboard Valor measures 248 meters in length, 35.2 meters in width, and 19.2 meters in depth, with a cargo capacity of 3,500 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU). It is the largest container ship ever constructed in Taizhou's Gaogang district.
The vessel is the fourth in a series of six ordered ships of this type. It can accommodate over 1,000 refrigerated containers and features an advanced refrigeration monitoring system. Powered by a dual-fuel main engine using both LNG and marine gas oil (MGO), it ensures exceptional performance that is also environmentally friendly.
