Keeway's new energy motorcycle project commences in Hailing

A new energy motorcycle manufacturing and headquarters construction project commenced on Feb 4 in the Hailing district in Taizhou, Jiangsu province.

The project is invested in and constructed by Shanghai Keeway Power Technology Co Ltd with a planned total investment of 5 billion yuan ($684.26 million).

It plans to revitalize approximately 80,000 square meters of factory space in the Hailing Industrial Park. In addition, it aims to set up a headquarters in Hailing, along with a production base capable of manufacturing 300,000 units of fuel (electric) motorcycles and their essential components each year.

The plan also includes acquiring more than 600 equipment and instruments, such as fully automatic CNC machines, welding robots, and comprehensive testing equipment for motorcycle electrical systems.

This will enable the establishment of an integrated intelligent manufacturing center and a headquarters settlement center, collectively known as "the double centers".

Once the project is fully completed and operational, it is anticipated to achieve an annual turnover of 80 billion yuan.
