In a bid to enrich the sports and cultural life of the public during the Spring Festival holiday and create a festive and health-conscious atmosphere, Taizhou's sports bureau has announced the launch of a citywide fitness campaign. The event, which runs until Feb 15, offers a variety of engaging fitness activities for all ages.
These include traditional Chinese martial arts displays, showcasing the depth and breadth of Chinese sports, high-energy modern sports events, and technology-enhanced fitness activities. From Jan 31 to Feb 3, special events will be organized at Taizhou People's Park, Wanda Plaza, and Financial Plaza. These include diabolo, stone lock exercises, square dancing, and street dance performances.

Additionally, a series of competitions will be held, such as table tennis, badminton, chess, cycling, and football. Local sports departments will organize fitness experts and sports instructors to visit communities and parks to provide professional guidance and services, helping residents better engage in fitness activities.
In order to encourage public participation, 19 sports venues in Taizhou, including the Taizhou Sports Center Stadium, Jingjiang Sports Center Stadium, and Xinghua Swimming Pool, will be made available to the community at no cost or for a nominal fee during the holiday period.
