On Oct 15, the first day of the 136th Canton Fair, the booths of over 160 companies from Taizhou, Jiangsu, attracted more than 800 visitors with their innovative products. The Taizhou delegation secured nearly 150 orders, with a total value exceeding $6 million.
Notably, there was a marked increase in overseas buyers, particularly from the Middle East, South America, and Southeast Asia, who expressed a strong interest in collaboration and helped to boost confidence among participating companies.
Among the exhibitors, Taizhou Runyuan Electromechanical Technology Development Co Ltd presented products featuring cutting-edge technology, such as a height-adjustable brush cutter and an efficient double-spiral drill bit. The company welcomed over 20 clients from the United States, Brazil, and Serbia, generating over $1 million in sales on the first day.
Another returning participant, Taizhou Homer Hardware Manufacturing, has continually benefitted from the Canton Fair, leading to significant growth for the company. This year, the company showcased its new products, including yacht docking components and floor supports. The display attracted numerous inquiries, with one Dutch client signing a $500,000 contract on-site.
Additionally, Yangdong unveiled its new diesel engine, a flagship product for the marine industry, which drew considerable attention from buyers. A returning Italian client visited early in the day, securing a $100,000 order and engaging in discussions about industry trends and product technology, praising Yangdong's ongoing innovation efforts.
