The prefecture-level city of Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province staged a Taizhou Day series of events on April 27 at Chongqing University – situated in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality – in a bid to woo young talent to settle there for entrepreneurship and employment.
Taizhou official Huang Xinhua gave a briefing to attendees on the city's extremely attractive policies and measures that have been specially designed for young people to work there.
In particular, the Hailing district of Taizhou has prepared experience vouchers for university students, so they can enjoy seven days of free accommodation and a 500-yuan ($69) shopping voucher in Hailing.
An awards ceremony for an internship training center was also held on the day, paving the way for Chongqing University to establish an internship and training facility at Jiangsu Gangyang Holding Group in Hailing district.
What's more, during a youth recruitment fair, some 44 Taizhou companies offered 871 positions to graduates. The fair attracted the participation of over 1,000 students and 231 signed preliminary employment offers.
