Taizhou Half Marathon wraps up transportation preparations for Oct 15 start

The upcoming 2023 Taizhou Half Marathon, scheduled for Oct 15, is ready to support its participants with various transportation and parking arrangements.

From Oct 12 to Oct 15, registered runners can enjoy free rides on any Hailing district public bus route by showing their race bibs or registration confirmation text messages to the driver. Special buses have been arranged for out-of-town participants arriving at the Taizhou south bus terminal and Taizhou train station to facilitate their journey to Taizhou Sports Park.

For added convenience, nearly 8,000 city road parking spaces will be available for free on Oct 14 and 15 to ensure smooth and safe travel during the Half Marathon. On race day, 100 public electric bicycles will be provided at the south gate of Taizhou Sports Park for participants to use after the race. Temporary parking areas for bicycles will be set up on Hailing Road and Gulou Road, south of Huaihe Road.
