Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group among China's Top 500 private enterprises

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group Co Ltd, which is based in Taizhou city, Jiangsu province, has been listed among China's Top 500 Private Enterprises in 2023.

The company was ranked 219th with its revenue of 52.13 billion yuan ($7.14 billion).

It is the only privately-owned shipbuilding company in China to make the list.

The company specializes in the research, development, design, and manufacture of large ocean-going vessels and marine engineering equipment. The company has over 60 years of shipbuilding experience and was listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange in 2007.

The group has had a fruitful year so far. Some of its notable achievements this year include the construction of 38 vessels worth $2.01 billion and securing 82 new orders for vessels, including 10 liquefied natural gas dual-fuel container ships and 10 methanol dual-fuel container ships worth $6.29 billion. The company is presently working to fulfill orders for 189 vessels worth $14.6 billion.
