Taizhou city acts to protect intellectual property rights

As a national intellectual property demonstration city, Taizhou city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – has built the first patent strategy promotions and service center in China.

That's added to other firsts in the intellectual property, or IP field. It was also the first to build a provincial and municipal cooperation mechanism for "Implementing IPR Strategy and Building an Innovative City" in Jiangsu.

Furthermore, it took the lead to set up a workstation for the public security bureau in the intellectual property office and in the procuratorial workstation for IPR protection in the province and built the first patent circuit court in the region.

The city has formed a cross-regional enforcement cooperation mechanism, by joining the cooperation network for patent administrative enforcement in the Yangtze River Delta.

The China (Taizhou) Intellectual Property Rights Assistance Center there is set up to provide intellectual and economic assistance to individuals and units, on request.
