Taizhou city takes lead in offering efficient services

The city of Taizhou – located in East China's Jiangsu province – is leading other cities in the province in establishing a bureau of administrative examinations and approvals, which is now in charge of 64 administrative licensing areas involving market access, investments and construction.

In line with the new principle of "receiving at one window, implementing package reviews, examining and approving collectively and completing applications at one stop", an administrative system of using only one seal for approvals is being implemented.

The expression "Tai Man Yi" is employed there, which means providing a satisfactory service in Taizhou. The expression "Tai Rong Yi", means making it easy to start up a business in Taizhou, helping enterprises establish themselves. Sub-center management of government services and online approval services, without the need to meet face-to-face, are the highlights of Taizhou's government services.

Taizhou is said to have taken the lead in completing the merger of local government service hotlines and launching a mechanism for handling hotline appeals.

Moreover, the city has been one of the first to develop an online property rights transaction system, which realizes the entire chain of transactions without face-to-face meetings. This extends from project registrations, information releases, qualifications reviews, bidding organization, transaction confirmations, to online payments and contract collections, among others.

Furthermore, Taizhou's membership of the High-quality Development of the Yangtze River Delta Cooperative Alliance is providing the opportunity to realize cross-regional remote bid evaluations and scheduling, data uploading and information sharing.

With a complete range of inspection agencies, Taizhou is a city said to possess integrated customs clearances in the Yangtze River Delta. It also has a first-class national open port, a comprehensive bonded zone and a bonded logistics center (type B). What's more, a complete range of financial institutions offer all-round financial services to enterprises.
