Loudong sub-district
Founded in December 2011, Loudong sub-district is an administrative area in Gaoxin district, Taicang, East China's Jiangsu province. Its jurisdictional area is about 46 square kilometers and it is home to about 190,000 permanent residents.
Loudong sub-district consists of 19 communities, of which 11 are urban ones and eight are agriculture-related ones. (The agriculture-related communities are organized by the government by purchasing the farmers' land and offering the farmers urban residence certificates.)
In recent years, Loudong sub-district has won honors in terms of social governance, public security, and urban management.
