In a concerted effort to propel high-quality development, Wuxi's Binhu district has been consistently optimizing its business environment.

Over the past year, Binhu's investment promotion team conducted over 300 events in cities across the Yangtze River Delta and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. They also visited countries in Europe, Oceania, and the Middle East for economic and trade exchanges, resulting in the signing of 175 project agreements.

The district has employed digital platforms and information technology to facilitate the precise matching of projects with industrial resources. This strategic approach involves the sharing of information about land, infrastructure, and talent throughout the entire district.

Binhu has also upgraded its business policies to boost market confidence. Benchmarking against practices of other major cities, the district focused on enhancing services in areas such as market facilitation, government affairs, industry support, regulation, and legal governance. During the first three quarters, 4,659 new enterprises were registered, marking a 16 percent increase.

In addition, the district has accelerated the construction of a more competitive talent system and established overseas talent exchange liaison offices in countries like Japan, Russia, and Singapore.

Its administrative examination and approval bureau has collaborated with departments responsible for archiving, housing and construction, natural resource planning, and real estate registration to optimize approval processes, enhance project inspection efficiency and reduce operational costs for enterprises.
