An agreement for the first major project in the Lihu Future City, Binhu district, Wuxi was inked on Oct 13 in Hong Kong.

The project, known as the "CITIC Pacific Properties Future Center", will feature a 380-meter super high-rise building to house a variety of businesses, including offices, high-end hotels and apartments. The center will also include around 100,000 square meters of commercial space.

Since March of this year, representatives from CITIC Group have made frequent visits to Binhu to inspect the area and have acknowledged the development potential of the Lihu Future City. Binhu district and CITIC Group have established a joint task force to facilitate regular discussions and timely information sharing, thereby promoting the success of the project.
