The 20th Wuxi Taihu Lake Cultural Tourism Festival opened on April 29 in Binhu district, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province.

The festival features more than 30 exciting activities including admiring flowers, firework displays and music events.

This year's festival also focuses on the integration of digital technology and tourism. During the event, some scenic spots in Binhu and local banks signed contracts to promote the use of the digital yuan in the cultural tourism field.

Sun Haidong, Party secretary of Binhu, talked about how Binhu has transformed its natural landscape, history, culture, as well as fashionable elements into innovative cultural tourism products. He also extended an invitation to well-known domestic and foreign companies in the cultural tourism industry to invest and pursue development in Binhu.
