The 2022 New Era Jiangsu Tourism Development Forum took place in Binhu district, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province on Sept 16 and saw industry experts and scholars discussing ideas about rural tourism.

During the forum, tourism associations in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and Shanghai launched an initiative aimed at driving cooperation on the integrated development of culture and tourism industries in the Yangtze River Delta region.

A signing ceremony for eight cultural and tourism projects in Binhu, including a holiday resort, a low-carbon farm, and a metaverse musical theater, was also held at the event.
