The 2022 Yangtze River Delta Cross-border E-commerce Industry Development Summit and the 2022 Yangtze River Delta Cross-border E-commerce Fair will take place from Aug 12 to 14 in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province.
According to the commerce bureau of Binhu district in Wuxi, four companies in the district, including Jiangsu Honggang Industries Co and China National Silk Import and Export Wuxi Corp, will set up their own booths at the fair, while another nine companies will showcase themselves at a pavilion built by the Changqing Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park.
The 14,700-square-meter industrial park located in Binhu provides a wide range of services related to corporate management, investment, financing, taxation, law, and distribution channels.
Binhu's cross-border e-commerce exports in 2021 were valued at $192 million, and the figure for the first six months of 2022 was $152 million, a year-on-year increase of 47.7 percent.
Multiple types of goods, including clothing, plastic pet products, and mechanical and electrical products, have been traded via e-commerce between Binhu and foreign countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
