An online signing ceremony for several metaverse projects was held on April 16 in Binhu, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province.

Among the projects are seven themed pavilions that will be built in Wuxi Studios, a filmmaking industrial park in Binhu. Based on film or TV series related to martial arts heroes, dinosaurs, and other themes, the pavilions will become multipurpose destinations for people to travel, do shopping, visit exhibitions and watch shows.

Wuxi Studios was recognized as a municipal-level metaverse innovation industrial park at the beginning of this year and has been fully leveraging its strengths to attract top-ranking companies and talents in the sector since then. It currently boasts an edge in areas like research and technological development, content creation, and application scenario planning, according to a director of the park.

Binhu has also taken a series of measures, such as making development plans and holding competitions and seminars, to bolster the growth of metaverse industry.
