Twelve enterprises in Binhu district will begin using Wuxi's online service platform for cross-border e-commerce, according to an announcement at the platform's launching ceremony on July 24.

Traditional cross-border e-commerce companies often fail to make rational judgments on the market due to a lack of resources and shortcomings in website construction, promotion and operation.

The platform (website: wuxi.KuajingPlus.com) will provide new development ideas on how to upgrade traditional foreign trade enterprises.

Users of the platform will gain access to an assistance system designed to aid in the industrial transformation of cross-border e-commerce and provide more accurate marketing data on global trade.

The assistance system was built by a tech firm in Binhu and provides services in foreign exchange, overseas digital marketing, website building for exporters and general consultation.

The developer of the system hopes to boost business for foreign trade enterprises and help them build an overseas brand image.

The platform will provide international cargo trade import and export data from nearly 200 countries and regions around the world.

Through accurate data resources and data analysis results, companies will be able to target overseas markets by analyzing the resources of global buyers and sellers.

The opening ceremony also invited experts to hold special training sessions for participating enterprises on how to use the platform.
