Sunac Cultural Tourism City, located in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, is set to open on June 29, and is expected to further increase the national influence of Wuxi's tourism.

The project covers a total area of 240 hectares, with total investment of 40 billion yuan ($5.8 billion). It consists of five sections including amusement parks, a commercial center, a bar street, a cluster of hotels, and a residential area, according to Yang Shuaihu, general manager of Rongchuang Wuxi Themed Entertainment Cultural Management Co.

The ticket price for adults is set at 260 yuan ($38.59) and visitors will enjoy favorable price policy from July to September, according to related tourism information unveiled by the scenic spot on April 28.

Particularly, the amusement park area gathers a theme park, a water park, a snow world, an aquarium and a show field, of which the snow world and the show field are expected to attract the most attention.

The snow world is an indoor ski field, where visitors can enjoy beautiful snow-covered landscaping and the fun of skiing.

The show field, designed by a well-known master Franco Dragone, uses a huge annular screen and a rotating water stage to present the love story of Xi Shi, a beauty of ancient China.

It aims to attract more visitors to Wuxi and turn Wuxi into a tourism destination, not just a city that travelers pass by, said Yang.
