Expats share life in Wuxi with videos

Twenty videos on expat life in Wuxi won awards in Ehu Rose Park, Xishan district on Nov 25.

As one of the series of events in "Love in Wuxi", the video competition attracted about 100 works made by expats from America, England, Russia, Canada, Pakistan, Bangladesh and more. They have been collected together since August.

With all the videos under three minutes, participants displayed the limitless possibilities of vlogging. Some of them even used professional and aerial photography to display the beauty of Wuxi.

Ishtiaq Ahmed, winner of the video competition, is a finance student from Bangladesh. He enjoys his school life at Jiangnan University and expressed his love for Wuxi without reservation.

In his video, he interviewed expats from America, Canada and Bangladesh, showing their gratitude for the respect and tolerance they received from the city.

Alfee from Ghana and Conner Bridge from America won the second prize, featuring their daily life in Wuxi.

"My only hope and wish is that you never stop being this beautiful, nice and cool to me, and others like me," said Alfee in his video. He also talked about how he regards Wuxi as his "destiny".
