During German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's recent visit to Shanghai, a roundtable meeting was held with select German enterprise representatives in China, including Xiang Jie, president of Brose China, located in Jiading district, Shanghai.
The meeting focused on discussing the evolving landscape of Sino-German economic and trade cooperation within the current international landscape.
Xiang highlighted Brose's 30-year development in China, emphasizing the company's confidence in the Chinese market and its commitment to enhancing its core competitiveness. Brose, a global automotive components industry leader, has made significant contributions to the Chinese automotive industry since entering the market in 1996.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for discussing the future of Sino-German economic and trade cooperation, thus showcasing the strong commitment of Brose, and other German enterprises, in enhancing the Chinese market and the local economy.
Currently, Brose has three industrial bases with 1,150 employees in Anting town, Jiading. Brose China's technical research and development center is one of the company's three major global research and development centers.
