In 1994, Baogang Group in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, established the Friendship 19 Community for its employees, comprising 196 buildings. As the community aged, the surrounding roads and environment were in need of improvement.

This year, Baotou has undertaken a renovation project to enhance the community, adding recreational and fitness facilities and improving green spaces. Additionally, a wellness center and a community cafeteria have been built, enriching activities for the elderly and promoting a healthier lifestyle.
