Baotou residents supervise government services
On Aug 14, Baotou's first group of government service experience officers began evaluating the city's services at offline service windows and self-service terminals and on online platforms and mobile apps.
According to Lu Ruogang, an official at the Baotou administrative examination and approval of government services and data administration bureau, the city invited 20 residents to participate as experience officers to help enhance the efficiency of government services.
These officers, appointed for a two-year term, come from industries most familiar with business needs, such as construction, real estate, law, and tech companies.

"The government service hall is equipped with smart devices for litigation services. After entering the required service, you can contact the appropriate staff members and receive assistance. This is a great convenience for the public," said Xu Jie, a lawyer at Hohhot's Beijing Jingshi law firm and one of the experienced officers.
Qu Runbin, another experience officer and head of Baotou Guangrun Petrochemical Co, stated, "As a government service experience officer, I will diligently fulfill my responsibilities to provide suggestions for the government and help improve the quality of government services."
