Preparations are gearing up in earnest for the holding of the 2024 Baotou Half Marathon – scheduled to take place in the city in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Aug 11.

In recent years, the Baotou Marathon series events have been growing in stature and size – becoming an important window for showcasing the city's unique charms.

For this half marathon, Baotou aims to excel in four aspects of event organization: high standards of event management, a variety of supporting activities, diverse award categories and a lively atmosphere.

Baotou hopes that the runners will fully enjoy the city's natural scenery, historical heritage and cultural charm.
