The return capsule of the Shenzhou XIII manned spacecraft landed safely in the predetermined area of the Dongfeng Landing Site on April 16.
As command and dispatch vehicles and search and rescue material transport vehicles for the mission, two heavy trucks belonging to Beiben Trucks Group, based in the city of Baotou, have cooperated with air and ground search and rescue equipment and quickly visited the designated area for handling, ensuring the complete success of the return cabin search and recovery mission.
The two trucks both use high-mobility off-road chassis, can carry important equipment safely and quickly in harsh weather and complex terrain to meet safety and stability requirements, which include fast maneuvering response capabilities, strong off-road capabilities for crossing trenches and obstacles, and ability to weather high and low temperature environments for vehicles.
The vehicles can also fully cope with the impact of sand and gravel while performing tasks, ensuring the safety of drivers, passengers and equipment.
In addition, there are two pieces of heavy trucks chassis equipment to undertake photoelectric image transmission tasks.
Since 2003, the group has worked with China’s aerospace industry six times and completed recovery support tasks for Shenzhou V, Shenzhou VI, Shenzhou X, and Shenzhou XI, Shenzhou XII, and Shenzhou XIII. It has never failed in its duties.
