Baotou deepens public hospital reform
In recent years, Baotou city in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region has been continuously deepening its comprehensive reform of public hospitals, according to a report in the Baotou Daily.
The reform mainly focuses on the establishment of a graded diagnosis and treatment system, improving the modern hospital management system as well as the drug supply guarantee system, optimizing and adjusting medical services prices and promoting medical and health informationization.
1. Establish a graded diagnosis and treatment system and improve the health services system
The work was carried out in four areas: integration of medical resources, a family doctor contract service, improvement in medical services project specifications and the price update policy system and lowering fees for medical services.
2. Promote medical and health informationization
To achieve this goal, Baotou city will promote the construction of a health information platform, carry out internet plus medical and health services and develop telemedicine services.
3. Improve drug supply guarantee system to satisfy people's demand for drugs
The city will focus on four areas: increase the proportion of basic drugs equipped and used, establish a preferential use incentive mechanism, establish a supply chain platform for medical consumables and develop a pharmaceuticals supply chain management system.
