In Inner Mongolia, farmers welcome bumper harvest
With the coming of the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, which falls on Sept 23, the Daur Autonomous Banner of Morin Dawa – in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – is currently full of harvesting scenes in its vast fields.
The banner has more than 7 million mu (466,667 hectares) of arable land and has won the title of "National Food Production Advanced Counties and Pacesetter Counties" for 19 consecutive years.
