The signing ceremony for a distributed data processing system research center co-constructed by Tsinghua University (TU) and the Horinger New Area was held in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Dec 7.

The research center mainly develops distributed data processing system products. At the same time, it will focus on developing new devices, system software and solutions, and developing new data center energy-efficient power supply systems to enhance the core competitiveness of Horinger New Area in IT.

Luo Qing, director of Horinger New Area Management Committee, said that Horinger and Tsinghua University have made good progress in focusing on inviting more talented workers, developing strategic emerging industries and the cooperation of education and scientific research. The establishment of this research center could also lead to the establishment and development of relevant industrial bases.
