A press conference for the 13th China (Arxan) International Healthcare and Snow Festival was held in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Dec 6.

Hinggan League is a tourist hotspot with a rich culture and diverse landscapes. As the venue of the annual China (Arxan) International Healthcare and Snow Festival, Arxan city is an emerging tourist resort city in Hinggan League.

Arxan has a 5A-level tourist attraction, two national forest parks, an Arxan UNESCO World Geopark, three national wetland parks and a national park. It has also won several national tourism titles and awards.

This year, Arxan is planning for a bumper winter tourist season, with new initiatives to promote its hot springs, ice and snow, hard rime and forests costume.

As part of the Snow Festival, the city has developed 25 new tourism products, 15 related forums, eight supporting policies and four high-quality tourism routes for visitors. And the 13th China (Arxan) International Healthcare and Snow Festival this year will open on Dec 21.

At the press conference, through the promotion and exhibition, Hinggan League's tourism resources, winter tourism products and preferential marketing policies were also vigorously promoted to the journalists in attendance.

Hinggan League plans to use the annual China (Arxan) International Healthcare and Snow Festival as a starting point to help  develop a "Winter Tourism" brand.
