2018-08-17

The 5th cross-Straits, Hong Kong and Macau Philanthropy Symposium is set to be held in Hohhot, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Aug 26-30.

First established by China Charity Alliance(CCA), Comparison Relief Tzu Chi Foundation, as well as other charitable institutions in 2013, the symposium has become a platform to exchange and cooperate, bridging the charitable bodies in the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.

This year, the symposium will invite over 200 renowned philanthropists, entrepreneurs and experts to share their experience in areas including the promotion of philanthropic undertakings and environmental protection.

According to the organizers, more than half of the attendees will come from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.

The Symposium will also release the first report on the development of philanthropic work in the  Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macau and display last year's exemplary charitable programs.

Attendees will also be invited to visit local environmental protection programs on location.
