The New Media Social Practice Base of Baotou was set up in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, with an awards ceremony held on July 11, reports Baotou Daily.

The base will allow students to experience what a career in new media is like, with various media jobs available for students to experience.

Four colleges and universities including Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology and Baotou Teachers’ College were designated as a “New Media Social Practice Base”. Baotou City Network Culture Association was awarded the “New Media Talents Training Base”. Student representatives and the social practice bases signed internship letters of intent.
