A total of 333 scientific research projects submitted by Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) in 2020 obtained funding support.

Last year, IMNU submitted a total of 767 projects in the fields of humanities and social sciences, natural sciences, arts and sports.

Among the projects selected for funding were 26 projects supported by the National Social Science Fund of China, 12 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 12 projects supported by ministries and commissions and 283 projects supported by provincial governments.

Officials from IMNU said that projects that obtained the national social science and natural science funds achieved breakthroughs.

Both the number of approved projects and funding amount ranked among the top in China and ranked first in Inner Mongolia autonomous region for two consecutive years.
