Students from Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) stood out at the 2020 “FLTRP.ETIC Cup” University Student English Contest (Uchallenge ), which was held on Dec 20.

Yuhao Yangzi, Yan Jingjing and Ao Lei from IMNU’s College of Foreign Languages won Uchallenge’s second-place prize for national speech, the second-place award for reading and the third-place prize for writing, respectively.

It is the best results IMNU students have achieved in this competition over the years.

Unlike similar competitions held before, this year’s Uchallenge was held in an online form.

Since 2019, Uchallenge has been listed on the "Innovative Talent Cultivation and Subject Competition Rankings of Chinese Universities" by the Higher Education Society of the Ministry of Education. It has become a platform for Chinese students to showcase their English skills in a competitive setting.
