6. IMNU president discussed regional college development

The University President Forum at the 2nd Arxan Forum was held on Aug 31 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Yun Guohong, president of Inner Mongolia Normal University, together with the presidents of six other universities, attended the event. 

Yun said he was enthusiastic about expanded cultural exchanges between universities. "International cooperation is of great importance in cultivating talent with global views and developing college education in Inner Mongolia," Yun added. 

The two-day 2nd Arxan Forum is designed to serve as a communications platform for China's Belt and Road Initiative, aiming at building a community with a shared future for mankind. 

It is also a non-governmental platform for dialogue and exchanges that aims to promote Arxan's economy and grassland culture, serve the national strategy and enhance cultural confidence, said Chen Ke, a member of the organizing committee.
