Forum on economic development held in Inner Mongolia

An academic forum on county-level economic development was successfully held in Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Dec 20. 

A number of government officials and experts from various local institutions attended the forum. 

Liu Jiuwan and Zhao Donghai, vice-presidents of Inner Mongolia Normal University, alon with various academics from higher education institutes including Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics, Jilin University and Academy of Social Sciences of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Lin Yifu, member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, made an academic report entitled "Comparative advantage and high-quality development: from the perspective of new structural economics". 

He conducted a in-depth research in national high-quality development from the perspective of new structural economics, and shared his insights on how to bridge the gap of income among different social groups. 

"The key to achieving the great rejuvenation of China is to raise the level of production and income. The government must optimize market competition, and improve transportation facilities and supply chain management. Entrepreneurs should work together to promote industrial technology innovation," said Lin. 

"We need to contribute Inner Mongolia's wisdom and strength to the construction of a modern society in China".
