According to the agreement, the two sides will pay each other occasional visits, form a joint work group, and organize various professional training programs and academic lectures. IMNU students and teachers will be invited to the China News Service for internships and academic exchanges.

“The China News Service is well-recognized for its outstanding news services and press environment. It is one of the best news agencies in China in terms of internationalization,” said Zhao Yonghou, president of the China News Service of Inner Mongolia.

IMNU's School of Journalism and Communications offers four undergraduate degrees in journalism, radio and TV editing and directing, broadcasting and hosting, and new media studies. The school has nearly 1,000 undergraduate and graduate students and boasts advanced facilities including five multimedia laboratories, three professional studios, and two digital nonlinear editing rooms.
