A delegation from the Australian Swinburne University of Technology (SUT) visited Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on May 6 to seek further cooperation.

Zhang Haifeng, vice-president of IMNU, briefed the delegation on the school's general situation and main disciplines. He said that IMNU attaches great importance to cooperation with Australian universities and expressed a desire for multifaceted cooperation with SUT.

A symposium was held where the two sides discussed cooperation in discipline development, as well as a number of other cooperation issues.

Afterwards, the delegation visited the International Modern Design Art College of IMNU.
