IMNU partners with Inner Mongolia Red Cross

Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Inner Mongolia branch of Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) to promote human welfare during a ceremony held at the campus on Dec 6.

Wang Rupeng, vice-president of RCSC extended congratulations to the partnership between the two sides and stressed the importance of developing the regional Red Cross society.

The center for transmission and research on human welfare was unveiled on the same day, becoming the first institution of its kind in Inner Mongolia.

The institution, jointly established by IMNU and RCSC's Inner Mongolia branch, will further the studies of regional Red Cross society under the principle of win-win cooperation and innovation.

Wang Fang, executive vice-president of the regional Red Cross society said that the newly established center will provide firm theoretical support for the development of the Red Cross societies in the region.

According to her, the regional Red Cross society will work with IMNU in volunteer services and emergency skills training. 

Huang Yali, Party chief of IMNU said that the university has maintained close relationships with Red Cross Society in Inner Mongolia for years.

She said that IMNU has worked with regional Red Cross society in training first aiders and volunteer activities.

According to Huang, the two sides will further the cooperation and set foundations for the establishment of regional center for philosophy and social sciences.
