Renowned designers from Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland were invited to share ideas at Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Sept 20.

As part of the university's 2018 International Naadam Festival, the event was organized by the culture industry research center at IMNU, which was established in August.

Winson Ma, the former chairman of the Hong Kong Society of Illustrators (HKSI) and Li Xiaojian, former manager at CCTV Animation, as well as other designers from across the country gave lectures during the event.

In addition to the forum, an exhibition on Winson Ma's creative artworks was also held the same day.

According to IMNU, these events are expected to promote the culture industry of IMNU and Inner Mongolia.
