IMNU partners with regional hospital in social work

Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) and Inner Mongolia People's Hospital agreed to collaborate in social work, according to an inauguration ceremony held in Hohhot on July 2.

According to the agreement, the hospital will provide opportunities for students majoring in social work at IMNU to get practical experience. Also, IMNU will organize regular training for medical work at the hospital to help improve doctor-patient relationships.

Sun Dejun, head of the hospital, said at the ceremony that introducing the service mode of social work into medical institutions plays a vital role in improving medical services and enhancing  communication between doctors and patients.

The partnership will help shape the system of practical education at IMNU, noted Zhang Haifeng, vice-president of the university.

Yun Guohong, president of IMNU, stressed that the cooperation will promote the healthy growth of regional social work.
