A cross-country cycling match was held at Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) on June 23, attracting students from Inner Mongolia University, Inner Mongolia Agricultural University and Inner Mongolia University of Technology as well as other schools.

The match was aimed to popularize cycling among Inner Mongolia university students and encourage them to pursue a green, low-carbon lifestyle.

Huo Richa, director of the IMNU president's office, said at the opening ceremony that the match would be held annually and was a good opportunity for university cyclists to show their skills.

IMNU students took third place in both the men's and women's groups.
