IMNU signs agreement with Wuhan Sports University

Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) signed a strategic partnership agreement with Wuhan Sports University (WSU) on March 27, providing strong support for further cooperation in physical education.

During the meeting, Zhang Haifeng, vice-president of IMNU introduced the development of physical education at IMNU and expressed his wish to learn from WSU in promoting the training of talented sportspeople.

According to Zhang, IMNU is looking forward to cooperating with WSU in the establishment of a big data laboratory, and management of teaching methods and sports venues.

Vice-president Wang Zhiqaing at WSU also showed his willingness to carry out intensive exchanges and cooperation in physical education with IMNU.

The two sides agreed to form a teaching team, build a teaching demonstration center for digital sports and apply for national research projects. 

Founded in 1953, WSU is a university established by the General Administration of China and the provincial government of Hubei. Known as one of the four leading universities for physical education in China, it has trained a large number of award-winning athletes including Sun Yanan, who won a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games for women's wrestling.
