An inaugural ceremony of Inner Mongolia Association for Food Science and Technology was held in Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) on Feb 4.

Liu Weijiang, a director of Inner Mongolia Association for Science and Technology; Zhang Guiyou, Inner Mongolia Federation of Social Science, officials from IMNU and experts and representatives from related research institutes attended the ceremony.

Liu Weijiang extended congratulations and wishes for prosperity to the association. He noted that the association will make efforts in promoting food science.

With its advances in academic achievements, the association will focus on integration of liberal arts and science, said Zhang Guiyou.

The ceremony also announced the chairman, vice-chairmen and other leaders of the association.
