The unveiling ceremony for the Federation of Social Sciences of Honder College was recently held at Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU).

Hu Yihua, vice-president of the association of social sciences in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Zhou Shuchun, president of Honder College, as well as representatives and leaders from Inner Mongolia and IMNU attended the ceremony. Wu Jiacai, director of the Scientific Research Department at Honder College presided over the event.

Hu pointed out the need for the establishment of federations of social sciences in universities.

“IMNU has caught up with universities in developed countries in terms of promoting the social sciences,” he noted, stressing the importance of promoting the new federation.  

Thirty-six committee members from the Federation of Social Sciences of Honder College were also selected by a vote during the ceremony.
