Foreign coaches Shaun Garnett and Tom Roberts from Tranmere Rovers Football Club of Liverpool, England began offering classes for teenage football players at Inner Mongolia Teenage Winter Camp on Oct 27.

They are also helping develop the coaching practices of Chinese coaches from 15 teams at the winter camp, which opened on Oct 24 at Inner Mongolia teen football training base in South China's Hainan province.

Tranmere's involvement in China began in 2016 when it entered into an arrangement with Little London English School which involved a number of people being recruited to teach English in Hohhot.

The club is now also working with Inner Mongolia on the first national soccer pilot to help develop a grassroots football project in the region.

Inner Mongolia Normal University is responsible for the management of the winter camp.
