2017-10-25

Foreign universities including De Montfort University, the University of Hull, Mt. Sierra College, and Central Queensland University, set up booths at Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) on Oct 23 to attract Chinese students.

The exhibition, jointly organized by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) under the Ministry of Education and International Exchange College at IMNU, was aimed to provide information about the Scottish Higher National Diploma (HND) offered by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), the leading accreditation authority in Scotland, and to enhance bilateral exchange in education.

China has been the largest source of students studying outside their native country in recent years. In 2016, the number of Chinese students studying aboard amounted to 544,500, up 36.26 percent since 2012.
