Inner Mongolia Key Laboratory of Green Catalysis

Inner Mongolia Key Laboratory of Green Catalysis was established in 2002. In 2016, it was recognized by the Department of Education of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as a collaborative innovation center. The laboratory offers master programs in physics and chemistry, and develops doctoral programs with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Inner Mongolia University of Technology.

Over the past decade, the laboratory has undertaken many programs, including 12 funded by the Natural Science Foundation of China, one national basic research program, one international program funded by the national Ministry of Science and Technology, two programs funded by the national Ministry of Education, four projects funded by the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and eight funded by the region's Ministry of Education. 

The laboratory has published 420 papers, 246 of them included by Science Citation Index (SCI), 30 by the Engineering Index (EI) and 17 by Index to Scientific & Technical Proceedings (ISTP). It has applied for 20 national patents for inventions, 13 of which were approved. Besides, it has published three Mongolian language textbooks and six other monographs.

Over the past decade, teachers at the laboratory have won 50 awards. One teacher was recognized as one of the "new century talents", a title granted by the Ministry of Education of China; one teacher was recognized as one of the young and middle-aged experts who made an outstanding contribution in Inner Mongolia; four people were recognized as "grassland talents", a title granted to honor outstanding scholars in Inner Mongolia; another was honored as one of the leading youth talents in science and technology among scholars in all colleges in Inner Mongolia; and another  was honored as one of the outstanding overseas returnees to Inner Mongolia.

Students at the laboratory have won 58 awards. Two students won national scholarships; 10 students won Inner Mongolia Scholarships; three dissertations were honored as excellent master's dissertations; three students were honored as outstanding graduates in Inner Mongolia; 14 dissertations were honored as outstanding master's dissertations at the Inner Mongolia Normal University; 11 scientific achievements were honored as outstanding achievements in master's students at Inner Mongolia Normal University.
