Yun Guohong, president of Inner Mongolia Normal University, recently led a delegation to visit Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute with the aim of seeking cooperation on construction of disciplines and cultivation of talents.

Ning Gang, president of Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute, China's only college with a focus on porcelain and ceramics, and Li Liangzhi, vice-president of the college, welcomed the delegation led by Yun Guohong, and explained the achievements the college has made in construction of disciplines, reforms in teaching, and establishment of academic platforms. The visit occurred on Oct 13 and 14.

President Yun Guogong proposed deeper cooperation with Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute in conducting scientific research, cultivating artistic talents and advancing comprehensive strategic cooperation.

The two sides agreed to draw up a strategic cooperation agreement and push forward the implementation of the consensus reached by the top leaders.

The delegation also visited the Sanbao International Ceramic Art Village in Jingdezhen and exchanged ideas with its founder, Li Jianshen, on cultivating talents in ceramics and passing on traditional culture.
