2017-09-20

The Tin Ka Ping Academy of Education is sponsored by and named after Tin Ka Ping, a Hong Kong entrepreneur. Established in April 2002, it has set ambitious goals in postgraduate education, teacher training and educational research to help more people become aware of the meaning of education.

In March 2004, Tin Ka Ping Academy of Education integrated with Inner Mongolia’s Teacher Training Center of Higher Education, with Professor Liu Wenxia being the dean of the academy and director of the training center.

The school provides a provincial-level key course: the study of educational principles. It runs two postgraduate projects (educational principles and educational management). It has two research offices, three teacher training departments and three research centers. The school provides both postgraduate and undergraduate education and teaching staff training, and has evolved into a research and educational institute integrating education, academics and management.
