The International Modern Design Art College of IMNU consists of the Visual Communication and Design Department, Interior Design Department, Fashion Design Department, Public Art Design Department, Media Design Department, Advertising Planning and Design Department, and Basic Education Department. The first school approved to run master's programs in Design Art (MA) and MFA in Inner Mongolia, it currently offers Design Art and MFA programs in six areas of specialization, and has created a design art education scheme covering undergraduate and graduate students.

Visual Communication: The program cultivates highly competent and innovative interdisciplinary students who understand market rules while have the expertise in graphic, advertising and new media design.

Interior Design: The program cultivates highly competent and innovative interdisciplinary students who understand market and have the expertise in both interior design and environmental art design.

Fashion Design: The program cultivates highly competent and innovative interdisciplinary students who are sensitive to fashion and garment, and are able to meet the needs of the market and economic development.

Public Art: The program cultivates innovative, market-minded, interdisciplinary students with the expertise in landscape design, public spaces design and decorative design.

New Media Art: The program cultivates innovative, market-oriented students with the expertise in media design, network interaction and animation design.

Advertising Planning and Design: The program cultivates innovative interdisciplinary students who are fully prepared for planning, designing and marketing an advertisement.
